Probably his music greatly influences your musical preferences.To understand the greatness that Dylan is, let's look back at how he became one of America's greatest legends.Here's a continuation of Bob Dylan's Biography, starting in the year 1973.1973 - "Pat Garret and Billy the Kid," both films of Sam Peckinpah hits the big screen, featuring Dylan's music.Dylan was also given a minor role in the film and plays as the knife-throwing Alias.This year, Dylan also released his second book, "Writings and Drawings." He also played in Bangladesh at George Harrington's concert, making a rare appearance.1974 - Marks the release of the album "Planet Waves." In 1966, Dylan begins the Hard Rain world tour."Before the Flood," his first live album also came out during this time.1975 - "Blood on Tracks," a breakthrough album ignites a lot of critical praise.Dylan goes on the Rolling Thunder Revue tour with Jack Elliot, Joan Baez, poet Allen Ginsberg, actor Sam Shepard, and scores of others.1979-81 - Bob Dylan converted to Christianity, baffling many fans and critics alike.The album "Slow Train Coming" is released, the first of the gospel trilogy.This album was followed by Saved and Shot of Love during the year 1980-1981.The song "You Gotta Serve Somebody" earned his first Grammy.1988-89 - Teaming up with Tom Petty, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Roy Orbison, Dylan releases "The Travelling Willburys.
